Dealing with Terror

Just what is the reason behind terrorism? Why do men strap explosives to their bodies and blow themselves and others up? Why do highjackers take a plane and send it crashing into a building filled with innocent folks just going about their daily lives? What is it all about? Since the day Abraham spoke and said there is only one God, we have been in conflict with each other over; who is God? Why should that be?  Is it because each section of humanity wants to put their brand name on God exclusively?

Before we had religion we worshiped wooden idols and folks were killing each other out of greed and wanting to control. Now we have the concept of one God, folks are killing each other out of greed and the need to control. The only thing that has changed is now we use Gods name to kill and control instead of wooden idols. You will notice I referred to the "concept" of one God, for most folks never listen to God. Many folks can only find God in a book or in a house of worship. If we cannot see God in a leaf, a tree, a rock and most importantly in ourselves, then God is only a concept and is not real. Unless we walk in spirits path twenty-four hours a day, we will not be able to cope with modern living. The more we know spirit, live with spirit and unite with spirit, the sooner we become One Unit (One United with God.)  The concept of God goes and the reality of Spirit's power begins. 

Religion is supposed to teach us this and it does for the few that live with Spirit. The source of all religion is the same. It is the foundation stone of a civilized world. But only by living in the spirit of religion can we progress. When we concentrate on the letter of religion our troubles begin. What starts out as a religion based on love and joy soon turns into hatred and jealousy, at the hands of radical fundamentalists. All religions have them. All society has them. These are the folks who believe society has not lived up to their expectation and because they feel mistreated and unloved they begin a campaign of propaganda and enroll the gullible, the ignorant and the plain stupid. Many of the religious leaders with radical views, have a very high intellect but no intelligence. For if they had any intelligence, they would know hatred can never succeed and the lives of millions can be lost in their attempt to change society by preaching hatred of our fellow human. In Northern Ireland only last month, Protestants stoned and jeered at five-year old catholic children on their way to a catholic school. If a Jew dives a car in a religious Jewish area on the Sabbath, they will get their car stoned by fanatics who live by their book alone. Every religion has radicals who think they know best. When these radicals become the leaders the real trouble begins. What started out as a small sect, all of a sudden becomes a real danger to world peace. And so we now have Islamic fundamentalists, who are No Fun, just Mental.

They call a Jihad. A holy war and again use Gods name to lie and indoctrinate the gullible, the ignorant and the stupid. The clerics preach hatred and tell their flocks to go out and kill the infidels. The non-believers in their truths. Of course this is only a minority of Islamic believers but as they progress more and more will follow their ways, as the youth of their society is programmed to believe their lies and propaganda. Throughout time the core of all hatred comes from the Mosques, Churches and Temples led by men filled with hatred, who have not got a clue who God is or the meaning of Spirit. They interpret and misrepresent their holy books to divide and conquer. To inflict fear and damnation. To preach guilt and hell, if their way is not followed. What a twisted lot of power crazy folks they are and have been for thousands of years. And still we do not learn. When are we going to wake up? The only way for a lasting peace on earth is for all religions of the world to unite under One Spirit.

We can still observe all the traditions, holidays and beliefs. Spirit lives in each and every one of us. If we cannot celebrate with spirit twenty-four hours a day, we lose the gifts of Love & Joy. If we are not in Joy, we are wasting our life on earth.Can we all join as One? Will it ever happen? Well, that is why I am writing this article. If we say it will never happen then humankind will cease to exist. Do we want our children and grandchildren to live a life of Joy on earth? Do we want our children to survive on earth? The first move starts with our truths and us. If we cannot embrace all the religions and science with Love & Joy, who do we think can? If we do not want to hold out our hand, to help another to their feet, who will? If we want to hide behind our religion at the expense of others, then our contribution to the world we live in, will be the cause of our own suffering. United we stand, Divided we fall. Will we unite in spirit and see the fall in hatred? The answer is in our hands, our hearts and our minds. Our souls already know all the answers and will answer if truly asked. Let's look at the shape of our body. Let's look at the shape of our mind and let's get our house in order. The good news is we all have the power to make changes for the better. Start at home and start now. Remember "Enjoy Yourself It's Later Than You Think" and we can only truly enjoy ourselves, once we get our house (Mind) in order. Let's turn the bad and the ugly into The Good for All humanity to enjoy. Just ask your soul, which means just ask your authentic self. Now let's get rid of the inner terrorist, within the minds delusions and truly enjoy life.
