Picture yourself lying on the perfect Caribbean beach. Now imagine
getting into the water and windsurfing, surfing, diving, snorkeling,
kayaking and kite boarding. And when you get out of the water, you
can go horseback riding, hiking, canyoning or jumping from a mountain
waterfall into a crystal clear pool below... Ay Pa Pa!
With Amber Coast Adventures, you'll see it all and still have plenty
of time to relax ~ Caribbean style. The goal of our tours is to
bring travelers to the "real" Dominican Republic. Experiencing
the culture, as well as the country's excellent eco-tourism, will
leave you with a lifetime of great memories. |
Whether you're a seasoned adventure traveler, novice or just prefer to
lie on the beach, Amber Coast Adventures will show you the best of the
coastal town of Cabarete and beyond. Along the Dominican Republic's stunning
Amber Coast, you'll have 10 full days of Caribbean sun, relaxation and
adventure.
The Dominican Republic shares the island of Hispaniola with Haiti. You
fly into Puerto Plata on the northern coast of the DR and take a short,
scenic ride to Cabarete. This charming little coastal town is where your
vacation and the fiesta begins.
The Amber Coast
The northern coast of the Dominican Republic gets its name from the world's
richest deposits of amber, found in the hills near the 75 mile stretch
of beautiful beaches east of Puerto Plata. The white-sand beaches, impressive
mountain ranges, spectacular rivers, waterfalls and exotic wildlife are
just the beginning of the Dominican Republic's appeal.
Every day, you have the option of joining us on an exciting excursion
all within two hours from Cabarete. Each of our adventure destinations
was carefully selected to provide a unique experience in the most remote,
picturesque areas.
After a trip with Amber Coast Adventures, you'll come to know and love
the Dominican Republic like no other paradise!
