her love
so many had been there before him
but she knew this one was so very different
this one was charming and sincere
this one was a real man
there was a sweetness about him that bewitched her
he swept her off her feet, he wooed her
their together time was filled with laughter and great conversation -
she could talk to him for hours on end, sometimes all night long
he listened to every word she uttered - of this she had no doubt
he was genuine, he was true
their immediate comfort with one another was obvious
she was uninhibited in his presence - she was able to be herself
no one had ever been so kind to her
no one had ever really cared before
he was sensuous and ever so sexy
gazing into his ethereal blue eyes, she was lost
he captivated her, he mesmerized her
the emotions, the affections - she didn’t recognize what she was feeling
an intense passion overwhelmed her with each and every thought of him
‘what is this?’ she asked herself
the mere touch of his lips to hers sent shudders through her body, to her soul
‘what’s going on?’ she asked herself
the love they made together only brought them closer and closer
she was terrified, yet couldn’t pull away
it was too late -she had fallen in love
true love
she never even knew it was possible to feel so good
until she met him
until she met her love
